New college has plans to teach a course on The Woke Movement” according to a recent article.  Who better to teach a topic like that than one dedicated to destroying it.  I am a member of the ‘Woke’ cult the article describes.  My membership began suddenly sometime around 1969.  For the very first time, I met and spent productive working and talking time with a black man.  Turns out he and I had much in common and that led me to believe it was a mistake to hold onto the beliefs I had formed growing up in north Florida.  I could be seriously wrong and the actions that led to could be very harmful. I’m still in touch with many people in my small hometown and while they are not as open in their racial views as they once were they find it difficult to let go.
